My camera was in the shop during our NY trip, so I brought around a disposable camera - and here are some of those shots. I love the colors of disposables!

I'm going to have to blog & brag about Sam today because I'm a proud girl this weekend. So if you know him at all, you know he loves good food and loves to cook. Well, this weekend is going to be a fun one for him.
He's starting at Revival Market located in Houston Heights this Saturday. It's a market that sells & makes fresh food from local farmers. They also have a farm out in Yoakum, TX in which they sell heritage breed, all natural meats (it's the only one in the country that does that!). I like that you can tell they just really care about their animals and treat them with respect.
Sunday, he'll be helping out at a pop up restaurant in Austin's Foreign & Domestic with Chef Justin Yu (btw his wife bakes in the NY Bouchon Bakery ... love that place). Sam & I went to one of Justin's pop up restaurants here in Houston and it was awesome - they have drink pairings with each dish and Anvil served some of their stuff too. Here are a couple shots from that meal I caught on my phone.
Made a trip to Austin this past weekend to see my sister who was in town for a wedding! BTW- omg, omg we ate at Odd Duck Farm to Trailer with Sam's family and it was amazing. Then we had Gourdoughs and then I was so stuffed and felt so uncomfortable that I told myself I probs would not eat it much more, but now that it's a fresh day I could totally use a whole Gourdoughs donut all to myself.
The weather was so great this past weekend and so we had to make use of it. Sam & I woke up Sat morning and drove out to Flat Creek Estate, a winery in Marble Falls. Here are some shots from our time there! Can I also please own a winery and move out to Sonoma? I am itching to go to the wine country again. Anyway, after several late nights out in Austin, I am so ready for a week of sleeping- oh but of course, it's Monday.
