Feeling Pink

Thank you for everyone who has supported me through shop christina sun, I especially feel the love on a day such as today, my birthday! I have been asked when new shop christina sun designs will come out, but they won't be. I am working on a new project I am extremely excited about - I'll tell you about it later!

BTW all items in my etsy store have been discounted to $15, sizes L& XL in both grey & ivory left!

I used three different essie nail polishes for this look:

Wedding Tree

I sketched this for my brother & future sister in law's upcoming wedding! It was totally Kimly's idea - so cute! The finished art will have fingerprints of all the wedding guests as leaves on the tree (AKA wedding guest book). Can't wait!

Mobile Uploads: Bigger & Better in Texas

It's true. Everything is bigger & better in TX! Texas Forever (FNL, anyone?).

I went to the rodeo for the first time with some friends for Kelley's birthday! It's definitely something you need to save your stomach for ... all that fried food left me starving for veggies/fruit the next day. The whole rodeo thing is definitely an experience!

mutton bustin' was my absolute favorite!! aw

space fries ... my dinner!

fried sweets! our ice cream cone looks like the loch ness monster (which I kind of wish was real)

Oxheart

The Houston restaurant scene is definitely getting a lot more interesting with all of the new openings. Oxheart officially opens its doors tonight for dinner service! Here are some shots from their press day. I couldn't be more proud of Sam & the risks he's taken to do something he loves, & now he gets to work with an extremely small kitchen filled with amazing cooks. Daniel & I went for their friends & family soft opening this past weekend and were served the very first plates. I love the restaurant space - they did a great job with everything. I'm stealing my picture captions from the menu ... there's no way I know/remember everything on these plates. I'm not Sam.

their menu will change all of the time

Mobile Uploads: Galveston

Sam & I had the day off this past Friday so we caught breakfast at Breakfast Klub (Beyonce comes here when she is in her hometown Houston, TX!) which never fails me. While we were waiting in line, I was talking about my saltwater sandals & how much I love them (I secretly want them in every color like Alexa Chung does). They're originally made for the beach so Sam said we should go to the beach! And so we did:

a cool dolphin with sunglasses

it's not a trip if i don't get a bracelet i will probably never wear again

oysters from the gulf & shiner on tap

creating his masterpiece

hello

now it's time for a real beach vacation!

Galveston is definitely not the best beachy beach, but it was the good company & spontaneity that made it so fun.

Outfit Details:

Madewell Chambray Shirt
Rag & Bone Denim Shorts
Saltwater Sandals
Chloe Sunglasses
Michael Kors Watch
Elliott Lucca Purse
